So this is an update that has been a few days in coming now.
I made a call to Sustainable Resources Development before Christmas to try and figure out what on my application form had disqualified me from going to the fitness test for the forest firefighting summer job. All I could do was leave a message for the lady I needed to talk to, and so I did. Got a call back within five minutes and she was very confused. I was on the list. I hadn't received any email confirmation, but I had been accepted to carry on to the fitness stage of the process. So January 7th I guess I'll be up in Edmonton pushing hard to do what I need to in order to get this job. I'm excited and very happy.
